Here in the states, the term "felted" is when you intentionally lock wool fibers together into a dense fabric. I'm sure people have felted things by accident when they wash a knitted wool garment in warm water and it comes out as a small dense mass of wool. If you knit a huge wool tote and then wash it in warm water, I suppose it would come out as a nice thick, strong morsbag! What is this process called on your side of the world?
