posting pictures of events

Am I the only one who doesn't post all my pics of EVENTS in one place?
I really don't like the fact that the event pictures (that is hand outs and things like that) are posted amongst folks bag pictures.
When we have done a hand out I like it to say so on the forum, so that everyone coming on the site can see what we have been up to straight away, and not have to trawl through to find them.
I noticed that two announcements were necessary to inform people that event pics had been posted last time..... One on the general forum to say that pics had been posted on the picture forum and then the pics on page 123456 phew!
Let's go back to the old way I say!
Just post with a headline so everyone is clear what they are looking at!! and then go on to the next event seperately.
Of course still have pages 123456 for just pics of bags made, if you want to, and if you like the fact that it keeps you up the top of the forum.
But me, it drives me potty!
Phew! I've finally got that off my chest, it's been niggling me for weeks !

I suppose Zappers - people get carried away and like to start a new topic eventhough there are already relevant topics out there.

I would like to have one place for event pics though - so I can chuckle at the other mad fools out there! Ha ha

Yes, it is a place to discuss the bags, I agree! That's part of the problem as I see it, we get sidetracked and then I miss an important post. it would be nice to have a special place for event pictures wouldn't it Joby? That would please us all I think! (hope)

The problem is that we do get sidetracked - and you cannot police what goes where - just look at the competition photos - POL clearly said - photos only here - but... there were some naughty yet keen to comment people out there who had to chatter away in the middle!

We are but humans after all!

Conversations, however conducted, have a life of their own. There aren't many times that what you start talking about is not what you end up talking about.

We need someone to remind us what the topic was about or someone able to split the topic, if interesting enough, and give it its own place.

I agree with everyone! (how diplomatic is that???!!)
If you guys want a section for pics of events then create one! (it is your forum after all).

Just click on the 'pics of morsbags and morsbaggers' forum and then create a new topic called 'events and hand out pictures only' or whatever suits.

I don't think I should create a whole new forum thread on the main forum page, but is certainly worth someone starting a new topic in the 'pics...' forum for it to go in.

OOH! Joby you really are a diplomat I think that may be a good solution if no-one minds (that's me being a diplomat for a change )
Will the person who does the next event please do just that? (if you agree, of course) On the other hand just forget the whole thing!!
