Repairing of sewing mashine

Hi,
do anyone of you know a good shop where you can bring your mashine foe a repair. I have a 14 years only Victoria (Singer) mashine and prefer with this one as there is no computer in. So I could open the mashine and clean and oil it by myselfe. But the part with the button garn get very funny noise.

As I am living in Leicester, I need one in the areal here.

Please help me.

I only want to say that my machine know how to work I use it very often before it has to join the morsbags. I sew bouses, curtains, shorten trousers and repair our closings if nessessary. Sometimes I also use it for craft work.
But I think it is now surprised that it has to work every weekend.

If it is not possible to repair my one I will buy a new one as I want to have a machine at home. I checked the internet and the only thing that bother me is that the most newest models have a computer inbuild. That mean no repair, cleaning or oiling of the mashine by myself.

Ok, I have to live with this.

It is possible to find good second hand machines, for example I love Berninas made in 1970's, 80's and 90's pre- computerised. But now they can be difficult to find and often the same price as the new ones. It might be worth asking Steve if he can look out for one. I would have thought that he will be able to mend your Singer. Good luck!

I am getting on well with my Heavy Duty Singer. It took a little getting used to but I am happy with it now. As Masterclock said - it is a good workhorse! It doesn't have anything fancy with it, just basic stitches, but it stitches through anything with ease.

Yuhuuuuu, I don't need a new maschine. Steve can repair my machine and I will get it back this week.

It is only that some part of the machine are worn and have to be replaced. After such a long time it is allowed.

Steve is realy a very nice person and I can only recommend if you have an issue with your machine and live near to Leicester.
