Macs Bags first gig!

Postby b.steadman » Sun Nov 27, 2011 9:24 pm

Macs Bags did the first exhibition and hand out yesterday at the village Christmas Bazaar. Unfortunately only 1 member of Macs bags was able to attend this time.

Between 2 and 4pm a total of 12 bags were made with several people having never sewn or not sewn for a long time. A great deal of interest and about 40 bags handed out. The power-point presentation was constantly running and also drew in a lot of interest. Next time, I'll be packing some lightweight sheets to act as a backdrop, as the play school art distracts the display

Also 2 potential new members :D

This event also marks my departure from the Marden area, but Macs Bags will continue and my activities will be back in the new year, in Germany.

That's a lovely display with some super bags Bernie :D I love the use of the easel for displaying info and the powerpoint presentation running while you were busy. 12 bags in 2 hours on 2 machines was a great output, especially with a lot of novices. And two possible new members as well!! It couldn't get any better :D

I hope your return to Germany goes smoothly Bernie. I know having the family all together again will make all the hard work moving well worth it. We'll be looking forward to hearing from you in the New Year - with another pod maybe?
