Here is your crew for today Beattie, bernie and masterclock, all present and machines fettled up.

Bernie has threaded the royal bags so hopefuly we will see the end of yesterday's bouncing bag syndrome.

Weather best described as dull and soggy, it rained a lot last night, but prospect looks better.

Bernie has produced some pin cushions which should be better than the trays we have been using which are inclined to scatter pins all over.

Make sure your battery's charged if you park by Brentford Gate Offcuts. I think you'll be trundling to the Herbarium like the rest of us. Have you asked if you could use the staff car park by the Herbarium? If I see an organiser I'll ask.

OK, good timing, an organiser just came past. She says you may well be able to park free on Kew Green if you get here early enough (we've managed it easily two mornings running..) - and you DO have to come in through the staff entrance by the Herbarium on the corner by Ferry Lane, whatever time you get here. If you can't find somewhere to park by the Green, speak to Annie on the gate and you will probably be able to park in the staff car park beside the Herbarium. At least Grumpy will be able to drop you and the scooter off, if nothing else.

I hope the weather's better than it is at the moment. :?

I don't really want to park on the green - Grumpy can't do street parking with his eye. Kew constabulary said to park in the main carpark which is near the exhibition area. I need constant access to the car. Also, obviously I can't use my scooter in the rain. Anyway, don't worry Beattie we'll be there come rain or high water- we'll follow our noses!! :D

Well done everyone. The photos are great. What a shame about the weather. I do hope you haven't been having the downpours we've had here in Sussex today, but I suspect you have. :(
I hope you arrive at the Morsbag site safely Offcuts,I Look forward to hearing all about today's happenings and wish you all well for the rest of the show. :)

Hello Team Friday, hope it's all going well today. I guess with 27 bags already made, you will easily beat Thursday's total!

Well here we are at the Rose and Crown. The drinks are in, the sun is shining at last, the ice is melting, the food is ordered but where is every one?

We had a patchily busy day, strangely not many people braved the 9.30 downpours again, so we weren't surprised to be not very busy early on.

we were very pleased to meed the lovely Maggie again - she told me that she'd attended the Knitting & Stitching Show last October at Ally Pally where she'd made a bag and been bitten by the morsbag. She went home and whipped up a batch of bags out of her husband's old shirts. :D

She was particularly dedicated in coming and lending a hand, as Friday is the day that her two young children go to nursery and she usually catches up with chores,. Nice to see you again Maggie :D

We had a good chat with some ladies from "Make It And Mend It" who are into upcycling stuff and did a demo with several (originally) tatty dining chairs.

The middle of the day cleared up, with sunshine and showers, then the black clouds amassed and we had a proper thunderstorm!

Today's tally was 39 - a good score for three of us. :D

we're here at our hotel waiting for grumpy and offcuts to arrive, i am reliably informed they are 17 miles away! We didn't make it to the pub... too wet and tired after an early start and a long journey.
Really looking forward to tomorrow, just hope the rain stops!
