We've been invited back to the pretty village of Calstock, just inside Cornwall on the Devon/ Cornwall border. The River Tamar that forms the border between the two counties flows beside the village green where the festival takes place and makes an interesting backdrop with passing canoeists and boaty types floating by.
We'll be there again on Saturday 4th June, not quite so close to the music this time. It was great to be central and part of the action, but we did need to shout nearly all day.
Bex, the organiser tells me we've got a spot at the back of the field this time.
We had a lovely time in perfect weather last year - will it hold for another gorgeous day out? Offcuts can't come and join us this time
as she's coming to Cornwall later in the year
, and Ivybags doesn't know about it yet
as she's incommunicado on another continent.
Masterclock and I will be helping people make morsbags on vintage hand crank sewing machines again on Saturday June 4th between noon and 5pm. If you'd like to join us, you'd be very welcome - please PM me if you want to come too.
Last year's thread is here -viewtopic.php?f=27&t=2328
and the photos are here - viewtopic.php?f=9&t=2337
This is one Ivybags took in 2010
