My friend, Jane Morgan, who runs Notnew bags in Warwickshire, was approached by her friend, who works in a hospice, about the possibility of making fabric bags for syringe drivers that many of their patients use for their medication. I said I would like to see one, with the possibility in mind of Offcuts2 making them with the pieces too small for conventional morsbags. Jane passed one on to me and I made the bag below
It has 2 pockets, each one measures 10x24 inches before sewing and 8x10 inches when made, with a fold at the bottom. The strap is long - 50x3 inches before sewing. They wanted bags with both one and two pockets.
Bet you can guess what they normally use? Yep, plastic bags
Offcuts2 have since made 50 of these, which are winging their way to LOROS (Leicestershire Hospice) and Notnew bags are also making them out of their too small pieces. We have put a mini label on them to show they were made by morsbaggers. Here are some that have been made by Offcuts2
