Loopy!! What a huge amount of beautiful bags you've been churning out! :D I've been reading this thread agog as it increases speed and ends up by you taking over the entire neighbourhood and using 1000's of machines simultaneously - or so it seems! Brilliant effort, and like you say, a year ago you hadn't even heard of morsbags! Great to have you on board! :D

Thanks Pol.... and it's all thanks to the new tips I learned on Saturday! I've even bid for a machine on Ebay today. It's another electric one though, a Janome, and the current bid price is £1.04! So, I may or may not be getting another one exclusively for bags.

I do really have to get a quilt made by 22nd September though, so I don't know how many I'll be churning out in the next few months. Hope I'll manage a few though.

I have known desirable machines to go up in price drastically in the last few seconds Loopy, but if you don't get this one you'll win one eventually.

Have been sewing bags like mad since last Tuesday night as I had a few orders to fulfil. I only needed 6, but somehow seem to have made 25!!! (One isn't in the photos because I forgot to photograph it before I gave it away).

It's a teeny bit addictive isn't it, LOL!!!

Just a tad! :D Great bags Loopy - and so many of them! We had some of that browny, purply hexagons duvet cover too. I reckon there's something for everyone there. :D

Thanks Beattie.... I got quite a few bags out of that sheet... not the prettiest of fabrics, but fine for man bags or women who don't want flowery ones!

Thanks all... I've amazed myself! Usually I make a bag, then put it on the tally and post a photo of it. This week I've saved them all up to do at once. I've got to take about 15 in to a course I'm on, on Tuesday, plus a couple of others have been promised to friends. They'll soon disappear I think. Then it's back to square one again!

Thanks Rosie.

Here's the very first bag made with my new acquisition of a 105 year old Singer hand crank machine. It works perfectly. This material was not the easiest to work with as it was sliding around, and one of these days I'll get the label on straight, but hey, it's another Morsbag to be let loose on the world!

If I think it's going to be difficult to get the label on straight, or if it's badly printed material where the lines or checks are not in line with the weave I put the label on at a jaunty diagonal, near a corner to avoid any problems.

I'm glad I'm not the only one!!! Here's one I ran up this morning (on the electric machine) while I was supposed to be tidying my workroom!

And this one was made while I was 'getting showered and dressed'....! I didn't like this particular fabric, although it's a William Morris pattern from Liberty fabrics. I had made a fabric bowl at a workshop a couple of months ago but didn't really like it. It's made a lovely Morsbag though!
