Label Crisis

Postby Krisaby » Fri Aug 14, 2009 4:28 pm

Oh No Sar! I hear you are in the throes of a label crisis. Please don't give up hope. I am sure Pol has them in hand and practically in post. To wait a month is a long time when your enthusiasm is at full steam ahead but please please please hang on in there. It doesn't usually take so long to get labels through - truly it doesn't. Pol is clearly rushed off her feet.
To go naughtily off piste - thank you for the offer to clout the builders with your crutch - offer gratefully received. I will give you a cup of tea after, as I am becoming a world expert tea maker. One spoonful or two?
Personal challenge - how many more bags can you make before the labels arrive?

Don't worry Sar. I don't think they would have taken that long. . Have you checked your local GPO collection point> I believe this happened to AD and they had been left there for her because they couldn't deliver or something.

I think Pol keeps careful records of all the labels she sends out and should be able to see what has happened

If you are going to your regional see if you can borrow some of someone and give them back at your next regional. Thats what regionalising is all about :D

Let Pol know perhaps after you have checked with your sorting office. Good luck

You might have to go to the Lancs meet up, AD to borrow some - they've got enough cake to feed the whole of morsbags.com and their cats and their wasps and their cats' frog toys

Just seen this - Sar - are you Sarah Ibison? If so, I sent them ages ago! :( Please check everywhere and if you still haven't received them soon, give me a shout at admin@morsbags.com as I might miss a post here. As Rosie says, I keep the receipts for everything so should be able to sort it.

I'm actually up to date with label posting at the moment, so there shouldn't be anyone waiting.... EXCEPT. ......AD - slightly different matter - sorry about the delay of 10 days - I'm afraid as your order was so big, I'm waiting for the new labels to arrive and was about to write to you to say so, but hoped they'd be here today. Hope you can battle on for a few more days... I'll put 100 in the post for you this morning to bridge the gap.

Awww, thanks Krisaby and everyone else :) Hope those builders are behaving themselves now! Ooh and no sugar for me, I'm sweet enough!

Unfortunately I can't make the meet up today as I couldn't rearrange my afternoon appointment, despite begging and pleading! (or having to wait 2 weeks!)

I would be very grateful for some labels in the mean time - hopefully my order arrives soon though! I'll let you know if they pop through the letterbox today. You are all so lovely :)

Pol, no I'm not Sarah Ibison :(

Thanks again everyone :)

Damn PayPal has caused the problem!!! :( I just checked the receipt and it has put my address from 6 years ago! I have no idea why or how it has done this as I deleted it and my home address is there and confirmed (which is also confirmed by an order I placed the next day that arrived here)

I have emailed them, but am so upset! Hopefully they will do something about it! I'm also going to drop a note at my old address in the hope that the present occupiers might send them on to me or return them to pol.

Awwww, I'm so sorry for any inconvenience

Mr Beattie loathes PayPal - can't stand using it - it often causes big blood pressure problems & explosions in our house. He often can't log out properly either.
Why do they suddenly pick up the wrong address? We had a letter from Inland Revenue for someone who owned our present house almost 10 years ago. They've been corresponding perfectly normally since the move - at their new address - til a couple of weeks ago! It's barmey!
I do hope you get your labels Sar. Is your old house far from where you are now? Could you go & ask them about it?
