I agree with you about the patchwork stuff, I like it a lot (and I'm actually doing it sometimes), but it's very very time consuming!

Anyway, this is a pic of a bag I made some time ago.
The pink fabric was very nice and strong, but a bit thin/worn here and there, so I decided to strengthen it with some bits from other bags leftovers.
It was fun!

I love it too. Have you hand sewn the patches on, Chiara?

Oh yes I see the outline now :D Think I would still like to see it visibly though lol

I do like that stripy bit of material very bright and cheerful :D I reckon it would make great bunting. It reminds me of seasides, deckchairs, summer and sun :D

did someone mention a braided rug? I've just taken the last six weeks to complete this, an hour a day, the fabric is 2 inch wide leftover lengths from two pillowcases - plain green & burgundy and curtain lining

and some fabric I bought with some birthday money (£4 curtains from a charity shop!) from which I've made five things! photo's on flickr

Thanks for your nice comments girls!

@ Offcuts: You're absolutely right: "thats the back because I can see the outline of the IBY label that she puts inside on the back". The patches are sewn with the sewing machine :)
@ SB: The morsbag.com label is on the front of the bag, as always, don't worry! ;)
@ BBB: Very nice rug! No, it didn't take much to do the patchwork. I'd say more or less 20 mins. It was basically something I did for fun, so I didn't care much about time! :D
