70's Groovy bags competition :)

Postby pol » Mon Nov 03, 2008 12:08 pm

We've been asked to provide 150 morsbags for a high profile 70's themed party (not that I really aspire to this but should be featured in Now Magazine, which could have potential for getting a celeb papped with a morsbag) so we wondered if any of you have some groovy retro fabric that's crying out to be reincarnated as funky morsbags?

We only have until Tuesday 11th for this one  but if anyone has any morsbags they can send us, the person who sends the most will win a years subscription to Sewing World www.sewingworldmagazine.com (WOW!!) :D :D and anyone who sends us more than 5 bags will be entered into a draw for 5 winning boxes of 10 Madeira high quality threads. So, 6 great prizes for a fun, if speedy, challenge!

Don't be put off if you don't have fabric that's uber 70's - quite frankly, almost anything at this late stage will do.

Address to post them to:

Thanks and good luck :D

bag tally

Postby joby1 » Mon Nov 03, 2008 12:12 pm

Make sure you keep your 'green' competition bag tally up to date for each bag made. You will find this box under the usual bag tally in your profile.

And also be sure to add all competition bags to your your normal tally AS WELL!

Good luck!

Just in case you wondered we will have to limit this competition to UK only due to the posting of the bags.

Sorry to all you non UKpodders we will have something for you soon...

AD: slightly smaller will be ok as long as they are only slightly. Don;t forget to update your green competition tally for all the bags you make/put aside...

Do we put bags that have already been made on the green tally?

What is the last day that you can receive the bags? 10th Nov?

Your green tally is basically the amount of bags you have sitting there, ready to send to us. Add them as you make them.

All bags made for this challenge obviously qualify towards your usual pod tally as well.

** [EDITED] ** The last day to RECEIVE is the 11th, if you can send them for definite next day to arrive on the 11th then we will get them. Any later and it is unlikely we would get them.

Oh AD Poor you, not nice at all.. You go back to bed and munch those parrots. (paracetamol)

I have nasty sinusitis at the moment so everytime my head moves I feel terrible lol So machining is a bit of a no go at the moment also.

I hope your flu/streaming cold goes soon. And look at that even in your poorly state you bagged several people.. Go AD your a sassy bagger !!! :D
