Offcuts is right - with 15 volunteers you would probably only need about 5 or 6 machines. Don't forget you'll need a "refreshments officer" too to make tea, pour wine & pass round cake. It's quite difficult to get all of a group together at the same time, so it would be a triumph to get everyone in the same place at the same time.

I have loads cut out already and houseboy is ironing for me.

The group will meet all over Norwich as people will be coming from different areas. The school has sort of agreed to give us a room for a few hours every 4 weeks eg a Saturday where we can set up.

So we will production line it and have a couple of bodies doing teas and coffees and labelling and cake distribution ,one typing, printing and contacting local suppliers and potential providers ,some trimmers and otehr bits.

The girls already seem keen and the 10 -16 yr olds will be involved in making their own and decorating.
Lots of the parents own their own companies and might be persuaded to "sponsor" a machine or a Bag"
Obviously to cover the costs of production and bits and pieces I will be encouraging fundraising maybe a sponsored Bag-a-thon

If we can get 6 machines and people are fairly confident at strainght lines i think we can reasonably make 64 bags per session allowing for 20 mins per bag even though i cna do one in under 15 mins .

i already have the supplies ot make over 150 bags without the potential kit these guys can bring in. I am seriously looking at buying a cutting mat and cutter to speed up the cutting experience.

Industrial machines would be lovely as i know there is sotrage available.

I have got advertising posters put up all around various groups and schools in the city. Fingers crossed we get a good response.
