Has anyone heard from Twisted Thread yet? I had a letter from Anna Baptiste on 6th May saying that after 18th June she would immediately send me a form to say how many bags I will be entering in the competition.
I know that she also said the forms don't have to be in until 1st August. but I don't want to miss out as I have been having great fun making my entry.

Can't wait to see your entry Tintin...

I haven't had any more information from twisted thread since the first letter acknowledging my intention to enter, if nobody has heard anything by Friday I will contact Anna and post the response here...

In the meantime I better get cracking on my entries!

Is it too late to send the form in to register now? I wasn't intending to enter this competition but I've come up with an idea now so wouldn't mind entering. I read somewhere we could register by 2nd July, but on the entry form thing it says 18th June....

Anyone know please?

Loopy I've just had a look at the Twisted Thread page

http://www.twistedthread.com/pages/exhibitions/viewExhibition.aspx?id=26&view=review

According to the information there you have until July 2nd to get your form in, so looks like you still have time

Thanks Sazziej..... 3 times! wonder why that message sent 3 times?!!!

I'll get cracking today then.... sometime.... I'm in the garden at the moment, under the lovely shady trees, it's the coolest place! I am getting hot though because I'm sweeping up leaves and mess, but at least I'm out of the sun.

Hope you're enjoying the lovely day....?

No idea why it appeared 3 times, I've deleted 2 of them.

Keep cool Loopy.

I think with Twisted Thread you have to go with the flow. I agree with Sazzie. Send in your form anyway. The form only expresses you interest and the main entry form will come later. Go Loopy!

We were up almost as early on Sunday Sazziej. We had our Grandson to stay and he fell out of bed at 5.30 and bumped his head. so the chickens got a very early breakfast, and Kieran was making his first Morsbag at 6.30 With help from Grandma(That was to distract him from the lump on his head,It worked too, another good reason for Morsbags).

Tintin - sorry to hear about your grandson's head but it is marvellous to hear that making morsbags can be a soothing balm!

Re not hearing back yet (if that's still the case) Twisted Thread have been a bit overwhelmed by the competition response, and I know they're beavering away at getting back to people and have asked us to send more labels... 1300 labels sent so far!! :D :D

If you haven't submitted your form but still want to, there is still time, but be really quick!!

Good luck everyone - and there is still time to submit info about your pod and your morsbag making antics for the 30,000 visitors from over 55 different countries to read about and marvel at during the 4 day Festival of Quilts: http://www.twistedthread.com/pages/exhi ... aspx?id=17 - so please do - it'll be so interesting!

So how is everybody getting on with their competition bags?

I have a couple of designs on paper and hoping to make a start this week.
