It didn't take long BBB. I just zigzagged the socks any old how onto a piece of fabric and then sewed the whole thing on to another bag that I had already made. I wrote the poem at 3am while grumpy was finishing an essay due in the next day.

Wow is this the turning point for morsbags she wonders... people will be trying to grab hold of these collectables....... Ooohhhhh in 50 years or sooo these bags could be heading for Sotherby's and fetching large amounts of money.....

Wonders if we could get some famous people to make a bag and then get them auctioned off in bags.. people bidding on the bags with making bags say someone bids 200 bags for a bag in the auction they would have to make 200 bags and hand over 200 bags to the organisers before getting their auction win.. wonders if this could work... .. might get around the not buying a morsbag rule... Could be a good bit of publicity and a different approach to auctions.. lol

Nope AD... Just thought how much I would give to own a bag made by a celeb and fully authenticated... Just thinking I don't have much money to get one of these and besides money and morsbags is a no go so then thought ooohhh we could bet in bags so as to speak. but the logistics would be that if we bet 200 bags then we dont get the celebs bag till we have handed over 200 bags and withing a timescale also cant say I will do 200 bags withing 3 years cos that would be daft but say a month might work better....

Whats more fun is that it might encourage non morsbagers to get involved lol I can just imagine a national paper taking up the reigns on this one.. getting all their staff to create x amount of bags just to get it and then doing a story on it as well..

Lets face it how many auctions are there out there like this is there ?

I reckon it could be fun as well as all those lovely morsbags being made by everyone hoping to win it... lol

but hey the idea came over a bottle of vino so be warned lol

Hi Ivybags :D :D We had a minor morsbagging emergency whilst you and Beattie were unavailable but we pulled it off, notwithstanding a last minute Royal Mail crisis again
