Well, the friday crew are all back safe and sound at the camp site.
Enviromental awareness stand next to us has a new 'toy' that helps you reduce your water consumption, and they state that Syira has more rain fall than the south east UK. Really  Given the rain fall in the last 24 hours I wish to challange that fact :D.

Resting up now ready for another busy day tomorrow.

Rose and Crown pub is very nice. Plenty of space at the table :D

Day three and ready to go.

Weather started sunny and clear after a wet night. Bit too clear if you know what I mean, gone a bit dull here and I am worried.

Getting messages from the sazzie and offcuts teams. They are nearby, but no doubt fighting their way through the entrance hurdles.

Bernie has readied up the score card for the day and freighted in the coffees and teas.

Machines are calling

Update from the show.

Sazie and Mr Sazzie have arrived bearing goodies for refreshment and are already hard at work.

Offcuts arrive a la valkyrie scooter hurling and bags flying. Dangerous things those scooters, it took two circuits to stop.

Profiteroles, scooters, hurling bags, bernie's pin cushions, cold and wet sazzies, masterclock sharpening and Beattie bustling - I WANT TO BE THERE!! Just back from work - I want to do full time at Kew on Sunday and Monday, so think I'm going to have to keep marking today to get it done by Tuesday unfortunately. So I feel really sad not to see the sazzies - hope you have a wonderful day and thank you for coming all the way down. See everyone else tomorrow, bright and early - with sunshine!

Have a busy day and I'll be glued to updates on the forum - GO TEAM SATURDAY :D

Any phonecalls from 'News of the World' yet?!

Great day, it only rained some of the time and the sun shone for several hours --was the odd squall though and some less cosy stands were knocked about.

Sazzies and Offcut's arrived in good time and really pitched in so record number of bags at 47. Stall was too busy to move at some points.

Many thanks to the extra crew who made it possible for Beattie and I to have some "me" time in the gardens together with the sun shining.Only chance in three days. We had a quick look at the Princess Diana conservatory and the secluded garden. We were romantically driven back by the rain to find it was all happening.

Interested to note that the give away bags were reduced to half a dozen beige by the end.

Offcuts picked up thr germ of crochet somewhere and was to be seen making a square in moments between helping incipient baggers. All did not seem to be going too well. ......

Beattie has aquired a nice convertable batbox, but I will leave her to explain that one.

Tea is on its way once we have thawed out the carrots.

What a difference a day makes when driving into London. Took the correct turning off the roundabout and it being a weekend. Took only 30mins :D

Talking of driving, the Kew Morsbags Eco MPG Driving challange is underway. (Stall next door has a driving simulator). Sazzie was first up and drove the car with 0.1 litres of fuel and went 30mpg. This scored her third on the days top drivers. Next up was myself and drove 33MPG (sorry Sazzie, please talk to me again :D). Don't worry, someone else has taken part and pushed me down to third.

Must sign off, Beattie has just cooked a nice chicken curry :D

The frozen carrots are a mystery - the fridge had got turned down too cold - how did that happen?

The bat box is convertible - to a birdbox. It has a slit in the bottom for bats to get in, but "hey presto", block the slot with the piece of wood supplied and take out the little plug in the hole in the front and you have a bird box.

It was lovely to see the Sazzies again - we must meet up again, sorry we were too busy to talk much today and that we couldn't meet up to chat last night. Thanks to all the crew for giving us some time off this morning - we had a lovely look around the Gardens and I took lots of photos.

This was the scene when we came back -

We had some mother and daughter pairs -

Bernie managed to persuade this lady and her friends to give up their plastic bag and use their morsbag instead.

By the way, we've just carried out a taste test on a free sample of polenta with coriander that M/C was given. The resuts were mixed, but they ranged from "Interesting, but not very" to "ugh" and a swift swallow of coffee. None of us will be purchasing when we return tomorrow.

PS News of the World seem to have missed the scoop! Never mind :)
