Sun 12th Sept 2010 - 9th International Morsbagging Sunday

Postby I bag you » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:13 am

Dear morsbaggers,

sorry for the short notice, but... how about having our 9th International Morsbagging Sunday next Sunday 12th September 2010??? :D

Morsbags made in the past 8 Morsbagging Sundays:

January: 249
February: 163
March: 612
April: 256
May: 323
June: 100
July: 174
August: 161

At the moment our "high score" is 612 bags made in March 2010.
It's an amazing result, but I am sure we can do even better than that!

As always, all you need is some fabric (or already cut/ironed kits), your morsbag labels, a sewing machine, a pc (to let us know how many bags you're making in real time!!!) and maybe some good refreshments! ;)

Hope to see you next Sunday! :)

You could always change the date to the 19th when you are at the garden party, Chiara. You never know who might pop along to join in! :D

I'm in, and have nothing planned for Sunday. Lots of kits cut and pressed, just got the sewing to do.

Down under's contribution this month is modest... 2 Morsbags!

Here's why... I made a freezer-paper stencil of a piece of art my good friend made. I used the offcuts to produce a second (inverse) bag. These bags will be a gift for him, for a special occasion coming up!

The labels went on the back:

The material was a beautiful linen I picked up at the op-shop for next to nothing.

So that brings the total to...

12!
