Postby angiedesigns » Thu Jun 21, 2007 4:44 pm

I posted 5 to you today. I hope they are ok. Good luck with the give away - I love Branson and hope he can donate a few cotton reels of differing colours to the cause, seeing as it is the Virgin Giveawy!
Angie,
Looking forward to a morsbagging 2010

He ain't heavy, he's my Brother XL6600 - up for grabs!!

Postby pol » Thu Jun 21, 2007 10:13 pm

The wonderful, kind, generous and proactive people at Brother love the whole morsbags gig and have been highly impressed by all the hard work you guys have put into ridding the world of plastic bags and pulling together into this great team...so have offered us the machine below - worth over £300 - to give to the pod that makes the most morsbags!

In order to keep everything fair, my mum will be counting in the morsbags that arrive/have arrived down in Devon and will be keeping a list, so don't forget to mention which pod you're in!!

Runners up prizes of Virgin Train vouchers and John Lewis vouchers will also be given to the other high-ranking pods. Will give you details as soon as I have them.

Hope this helps with the machine whirring (wish I could enter ;) )

Good luck everyone - you're doing the most INCREDIBLE job :) :)

I posted my 12 today. I'm hoping they should arrive with you before 25th - I did post them first class and the post office lady said they will go today.

I'm being given a whole load of fabric tomorrow by a soft furnishing shop, so I'll try to get some more done next week to send out before the last deadline.

How many baggers are there?

I'm hoping to make three today. Just got back from Tooting having bought a duvet in a charity shop for bagging purposes. The lady at the till complimented me on my bag (that is the only Morsbag I've yet made) when I refused a plastic bag..and I told her I was going to make more bags out of the duvet!

how many baggers

Postby zappers » Sat Jun 23, 2007 2:25 pm

I make it 269 members Sonata, without the Pod members but some of them are on the other side of the world. But there must be 100 keen baggers somewhere :?:
Butter up the postman Pol - get your Mom to give him a bag and a cup of tea
