Hi Barrowbeauties, thanks for asking and sorry you're still waiting. I don't know whether or when Pol posted them to you. She's had a lot of work on recently and has been really tied up. She has to pop out in her lunch break to post them and the queue at the Post Office has been enormous - the Christmas effect. I waited about 3 weeks for my last lot - til either Pol or Joby had a day off!
They were looking into a system where they can weigh the packages at home and print off the postage label - as discussed in an earlier post. Selby Baggers had a good suggestion for this.
Whereabouts are you and how many labels do you need? Someone nearby may be able to drop some in, or I could post you some as I had a big lot delivered recently. You could PM me your address and I'll send you some to tide you over. _________________ Make a bag - you know you want to! |

Hi beattie
No problem it's more concern in case the PO had messed up - I've had a week where I cheque I posted didn't turn up and made things awkward, plus DH rejected a Parcelforce parcel that wasn't addressed to us without checking return address, company address or anything - I was concerned in case it was that.
I'm in the same county as Offcuts so she previously has offered me some of her sponsored labels, so I have contacted her to say yes to some.
Naturally, now I've asked, the labels will probably fly through the letterbox today (here's hoping)
thank you so much for the offer of sending me some labels. If I can't get any from anywhere I will take you up on it |

I don't think the parcel could have been your labels. I bought 500 a few weeks ago and they came in a jiffybag that fitted through the letterbox. So unless you bought a few hundred thousand it was something else. _________________ Make a bag - you know you want to! |

Hi Barrow Beauty. You can certainly have some of Leicestershire's sponsored labels. If you pm me your address and how many you would like I can pop them into the post for you. When we meet up in the new year if you like I could buy the ones you have bought from HQ back off you and I can put them into our show label supply.
You mentioned in your pm that you will be giving them out to friends and family. This is a great idea and a good way to start off, and you will soon find that they are donating you their no longer needed household linens. The forum is always here for any help and advice. We're a friendly bunch!
Also if you ever need any fabric by some strange coincidence you live in the same village as Christie's daughter so we can easily get some Skopos to you. Skopos is fabric donated to us by a factory in Yorkshire and Christie is the pony express between Yorkshire and Leicestershire.
So good luck and please don't feel under any pressure to make loads of bags. Thats not what we are about! Looking forward to meeting up in the new year _________________ 'morsbaggers do it for free!' (Mary Scissorhands August 2009) |

Bless you, PM after this
I'm hoping to reduce my fabric stash before anyone realises they can give me fabric - just need to get more people making
DD is having a sleepover this weekend so I am planning to give morsbags to her friends and publicise the pod to the mums. Even if they don't sew they can cut or iron - jobs for all I say!
OK - lunch over, coldy boy looked after (hence why I'm around today), off to sew! |

Pol puts a sticker with her mum Val's address on the envelope as a return address as Pol & Joby have trouble with mail not getting to them. Glad you've now got enough labels BB _________________ Make a bag - you know you want to! |
